Ontario polar bear painter to accompany Arctic Expedition departing from Ottawa
Award winning artist Christine Montague will be the Artist-in-Residence for an upcoming 1-Day Polar Bear Expedition from Ottawa to Churchill, Manitoba.

Christine Montague is an Ontario-based oil painter whose work with polar bears as the primary subject matter has garnered admiration and accolades, and is displayed collections around the world.
“I have been to every province in Canada, and the Arctic is incredible, it's like nothing else,” said Christine. “Traveling to Churchill, the polar bear capital of the world, and boarding a Tundra Buggy to see the bears is such a memorable experience. I can’t wait to participate in this Expedition and help the participants draw out inspiration from their time in the Arctic. ”
